The old Bucket List. The list of things you want to do before you die, or at least that’s how I interpret the idea of a bucket list.
I have quite a few things on my personal bucket list, and some of those overlap with my Photography Bucket List. The list of things I want to accomplish, or photograph before the old camera breaks one last time.
Here is my list, as it currently stands. It really is subject to change at any moment, or time, depending on my mood. I’ve broken my list into two parts: things I’d like to do in the world of photography and things or places I’d like to capture with my lens. I need to get crackin’ on this list. There are far too few things actually done on it!
Things I’d like to do:
Win a photography prize (done. Took 4th out of nearly 150 entries.)
Take home a 1st Place prize
Gallery Show (I’ve had one of my artwork.)
Start a Photography bases business. (working on this currently)
Join a photo club (done.)
Make/ obtain a studio space
Attend a photographers’ conference
Attend a photographer workshop
Places and Things I’d like to capture:
Amsterdam, Netherlands. (Done. Loved it there!)
Milwaukee Art Museum, Calatrava (Done and done some more.)
Tawain
The Atlantic & Pacific Oceans. (halfway done.)
Ireland
Great Wall of China
Harley Davidson anniversary event
An old farm
The sunset from a boat in the middle of the ocean and/ or lake
Road trip travelogue
Take a photo in all 50 states. Except maybe Colorado because of the elevation, and the issues it would cause me.
Italian Countryside
And this list will continue to grow, I know it will. But that is all for now.

Starting this thing back up
Hello! I have decided to restart my blog, that I have not touched in over two years. Boy, what a lot can happen in two years. The biggest changes in my life? First, a baby. Then, nearly dying. Finally, getting married. But, really, I restarted this blog because I am getting serious about this photography business. After taking fourth in a locally judged art competition in 2011, I decided to treat myself to a "real" camera. In other words, a DSLR instead of a little point and shoot, which is what I used to take my award winning photograph.(proof that you don't NEED a fancy camera to take awesome photo's but still nice to have.) My hopes for this blog are two-fold. One, to get my butt in gear and start finding the time to release my creativity in the form of the photographs I take. Two, to have a spot to talk about my amazing and awesome son- without writing a novels worth of emails to anyone I think may care. :)
